My uncle Louis started selling paint after his return from World War II and never really stopped until he passed away in 1972. When he visited our new home in New Jersey he looked the place over walked around the house once and gave me an estimate of how many cans of paint I would need, then he quoted me a price, assuming I used Behr paint (his top seller back in Wisconsin) he hedged his bed by saying that paint was more expensive in New Jersey and he was probably low by a couple hundred dollars., He was on the money. Within that couple hundred dollars. There are some good stories about my uncle Lou but that one is my favorite to tell.
